The Cytoskeleton provides much needed structure for the cell. The Cytoskeleton also, like our skeleton, holds the organelles in place. Cytoplasm works with all of the organelles to keep them in place and safe. These are networks of proteins that criss-cross the cytoplasm of cells! They are composed of many different kinds of proteins.

Cytoskeleton can be found in most eukaryotic cells. In the cell it is found around the organelles.
