The Nucleus has two main functions, it stores the cell's DNA, and it tells the cell to move and function, which include growth, metabolism, protein synthesis, and reproduction (cell division)! The nucleus is a major part of the cell. It works with the whole cell and all the organelles to function! It could be referred to being the brain of the cell! The nucleus is a membrane-bound structure that has the genetic material of a cell in it.

The Nucleus is not always in the center of the cell, but it is inside the cell membrane!
